Thanks for the write up, any interesting pictures of the repeater functions that you mentioned? I have seen the Zenith repeater in the catalogue but would love to see some pictures of other favorites if you have any?

I'm struggling to find non copyrighted pictures that actually show the rack and snail - a complete movement doesn't actually show much. I'll keep looking, but that's why there wasn't anything in the original.

Admin is going to try and pull my various ramblings together in a slightly more formal way separate from the forums and I'm trying to help him out by not putting copyright protected pictures in them.

I have seen videos on youtube showing repeaters in action... do a search.

Yeah, figure in Roff is in the boonies and the electric to power his computer is provided by bicycle power and it makes it even more remarkable, ahh those Northern Ontarians are a hardy bunch
