also some of you are assuming advanced means mirco chip.
some of the mech watches are so advanced its amazing, design, materials, movement, size etc
for me
1. i have to like to look at it
2. i have to think its gonna be accurate (within reason)
3. i have to be impressed by the complication or some feature
i love the date complication on the Datora, the 24 dial on the cosmonaute, the 6,9,12 layout of the fighters with its brushed finish and special case back, the B1 is useful with its features and cool case back, the Emergency with its ELT and Titanium body finally the 806 with its (i am the original) navitimer looks great movement and 43 years of history for my dad.
thats why i love the ones i have, all those reasons and so many more.
youll see i have a mix of SQ and mech an dlove them all.
