What do you guys think of the pilot chrono by IWC. I have a chance to pick one up. I have no experience with them.

Quality pieces. They are extremely well made, and are becoming more popular in North America (have been popular in Europe for a while). As I have stated before, my preference is for the Portuguese range, but they are definitely very nice watches.

I'm wearing mine right now, I love it :) . I had a chance to pick one up for a good price and haven't regretted it for a moment. It's a simple design but it's got something really classy about it and, as Roff said, it's very well made.

When I get my Navitimer I'll have a classic pair of pilot's watches. :D

I think I will go for it it is a pilot 3717-01 42mm chrono. It is in good shape and I think I can do a straight trade with a watch I never wear. So I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the feed back!

IWC make superb watches. Great attention to detail and fantastically well made.

The 42mm is personally a little too small for me - hence my current MASSIVE desire to get either a Big Pilot or a Top Gun Doppelchronograph. But either way, the are excellent watches.
