As is probably obvious from the Zenith thread, I decided to pass on this, but when I was inspecting the Zeniths yesterday I noticed that the AD had one of the LE Cuore Caldo sets (it comes with pen and cufflinks) - the top of the Nabucco range.

It's a LE of 500 and it's a very good looking piece - list is $17,000, I could get it for $10,000 taxes in which I think is a pretty good deal (but no it won't be an alternative to the Zenith).

Looks nice enough.....but with two BIG "buts" -

Firstly, it's still a Raymond Weil.

And secondly...... it's $17,000 for a Raymond Weil!!!!!!!!! :shock:

Yeah I know - flip side is that it's a rose gold, steel, leather, rubber, carbon fibre (and a few other materials) rattrapante LE of 500 for $10K out the door.

But no, I won't be buying it.

looks v nice but for that much i would expect the head to be all gold.

It's legitimate.

Canadian dollar has dropped about 20% in the last 3 months against the US dollar.
