I like the look of that a lot. BUT..... "blackened titanium"?? :? Sounds suspiciously like a <personal shudder> surface PVD coating. Joy.

Yeah I'm not sure what the coating is - not many details yet as it was launched only a week ago. I think the bezel is ceramic, but that's not very helpful if the rest is PVD.

Of course price on one of these is also silly given that it's an AP - limited edition of 1,000 with a list price of $35K.

It's nice, but even if the whole thing was ceramic (which it isn't) I still wouldn't think it's "$35K nice".

That sure is a lot of money, but I still want one. Lucky I don't have $35k so I can just avoid thinking about whether it's too much :P

I tried on a ROO at the AP the other day. I've heard you have to handle them to get the idea, and I think that's right. Very, very impressive watch in the metal.
