Hi everyone

Hope you all had a wonderfully holiday, I have got back straight into the swing of things, Learning to service the barrel and flatten wheels and end-shakes also oiling the winding and setting mechanism been very fun just finished our exam as well. But time is flying by so fast soon be finished and moving onto my next training should be also interesting. A screw broke in the main plate so I had to extract it very cool process. We have also been intensively learning cleanliness of jewels and the movement this is a very important matter any dirt or dust can effect the running of the movement. Also I would like to take this opportunity to thank my teachers and staff at the school for their support and help and for taking me on at 16 it been a big learning curve but i have had their support all the way trough and my teacher as always explained things in a way I understand so I would like to thank them for everything.

Also thank you all for viewing and taking the time to read my posts. :) :)

I love reading your updates Joe. Great stuff. Good to see it's all going well.

BTW, the maths brings me out in cold sweats, reminding me of my economics degree!

That shot of the whiteboard reminds me of deriving the quantum mechanics Schrodinger equation in my university days :-)

It's a fascinating journey to watch from the outside. Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear all is going well! Like others I don't miss the math either!
