My brother is looking to sell his IWC 3880 Top Gun, that he has worn maybe a half dozen times in the last 6 months. He literally just doesn't wear it as he wears his TT CE daily. I am convincing him to let me put it up on the forum, but I was curious to know what you think a fair selling price is? When I say that this thing is mint, I mean MINT!!!

Way do you think? Retail is $12,700.00 I believe.

I owned that watch, absolutely hated it. Far too long and too much empty space on the dial.

IWC resale values stink, I sold mine which was only a few weeks old for about $8k.

If you hated it, then why did you buy it? :D

Thanks for the details!

I agree with Serge, IWC resale isn't the best. I'd hope for somewhere just over $7K for it.

Agreed, probably somewhere between 60 and 70% of the retail I'd say. Watches are like cars - drive them off the forecourt and you may as well have thrown 30 to 40% of the value down the toilet!
