Hi all, someone brought me this watch today, cool little watch, it sure needs a good cleaning, service and possibly a new crystal. I have never owned a Tag, nor was interested in one before, but for some reason I kind of liked this particular model. Before I get it serviced, I would appreciate some input on the model and if it looks all right. Thanks much in advance and sorry for my bad picture skills ;-)

Recently saw a picture of Jack Heuer with a new (what I believe was) Carrera on his wrist comparing it to an original. Original still has plenty to offer, newer versions are really much bigger though.

Great looking watch. Superb.

Oh for the 1960's!

Looks a-ok to me. Looks great actually. A little TLC would take care of it nicely.

Looks fine to me -i also have one of these, but the version with the white ring subdials.

Buy a tube of polywatch and the crystal should come up like new- it is plexiglass. A once over with some autosol on the case wouldnt hurt it either..

Updating with newer pictures. Had the watch serviced, looks real good. However, not my piece of cake, so sold it :-)
