So after my breitling came back from service it ran into another problem. Very hard to wind and if you listen it makes a noise similar to an old rotary phone. I decided that I had enough of this as I was in a AD and the other models were as smooth as butter. I decided screw it and traded it in for a Panerai Pam 320 GMT. What are your thoughts on Panerai, specifically that model? I still like breitling but there was no was I was going to send it in for repairs a second time. I might have just got a lemon. I am staying on this forum as the people here are nice and knowledgable.

The PAM 320 is a fine watch and you very well might start to suffer from Panerai sickness before too long! Meaning you'll be looking at straps and different models wanting more! They also hold their resale value fairly well. Congrats on the new PAM.

I recommend Toshi and TedSu straps for aftermarket. I had Rich and Toshi straps make me a burgundy strap and once it was broke in, boy is it nice. My TedSu horn back straps are also exceptionally nice.

Hopefully the resale will be better than breitling. Easily lost 60 cents on the dollar for it!!! I will look into straps for sure. The is for the tips.

I love the 320. However, I like it a lot more with a black strap.

It came with the black rubber one which is awesome and a brown crocodile one. Not a fan of the brown but sill cool that it comes with both.

60%? If you traded it at the dealer that would make sense as you get clobbered on resale there. The Pam 320 is a terrific watch IMO. If you decide to flip it down the road you won't lose that much as Panerai holds its value. Enjoy your new beauty.
