I recently signed up for an account with ParcelPro, as a collector. I made a call to their customer service department to receive information on signing up for a non-business account and a representative took me through the entire process. I faxed my application in, so there is a slight barrier to overcome.
Once you are signed-up and logged in, it is fairly easy to create insured FedEx shipping arrangements through ParcelPro's website. As long as you're willing to double-box your shipments and print your own shipping labels, the shipping rates and insurance costs are very reasonable. FYI, I ship out of Canada, so the service is available to Canucks.
Most people will mention ParcelPro in these sorts of threads, but the online application process is a bit obtuse. Call them to get the ball rolling...if you plan on shipping more than one watch in your lifetime, it is probably worth the extra effort.
Addendum: Other resources suggest that you may need certain tax identification numbers to ship international from the US with ParcelPro. Since I'm Canadian, this may explain why I had no issue...but it's worth a call regardless.
