Just need a bit of help with a Rolex. Seen this
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewit ... 0679231028

Very confused, not sure they did a submariner with red & black? However it is missing the back, you can see the movement which does look legit to me

Any opinions?

Anytime I see the statement 'so-and-so died and I need to sell these watches....' I immediately think fake. Maybe that's just me stereotyping but I don't trust it. The photos aren't very good so it's hard to determine if they are real or fake, it looks like a coke bezel from the one distant shot that I saw.

Edit...just saw all the photos. It's a coke sub and it's a lovely fake. The coke bezel was only made for the GMT I believe and the displayback and movement are dead giveaways of how bad of a fake it is.

That's what I thought. But the movement does look genuine, it looks like other rolexes. Again the bezel could be aftermarket? I have emailed the seller, the all important numbers will decide...

No definitely not. Obviously it seems these fakes are becoming more deceiving

That's not even close to being a good fake, it's pathetic on so many levels. Deceiving it is not.

Indeed. It is a common alarm bell.

I am no Rolex expert but I know this is fake junk. It is being sold in a job lot with a Lorus! Rolex like Breitling dont usually do dislplay backs. Movement finishing and rotor baring are poor, etc.

Yeah it's a complete horrible fake. Another nail in the coffin from me.

I don't know what you mean by that, but I have to believe at this point if you are still considering this watch, you are either looking to acquire a fake, or are reckless in your efforts to avoid getting screwed.
