Has anyone seen the new Rambo movie?? It's not weel known for its plot or dramatic oscar winning scenes but a couple of times in the movie you can see Sly wearing a Panerai. Looks good, just thought i'd share.

Yeah I noticed that myself. It looks like one of those black ceramic ones that Sportback raves over. Sly loves his Pannies. The Daylight came about as a result of Sly's (pretty rubbish) film of the same name. He also designed the Panerai Slytech too.

I actually really enjoyed the new Rambo movie!! OK so it's not exactly Hamlet but I couldn't help but sit there thinking "They just don't make films like this anymore!". HUGE guns and extreme violence kind of took me back to the 80's! If anything I think it could've done with being half an hour longer.....

Also on the DVD extras, Sly seems to be wearing what looks like a huge U-Boat when he's chatting about the filming process.

I totally agree, I enjoyed it also. You could see how the movie would go right from the start but the classic Rambo character saved the day again!! Thought the movie has a definate 80's ring to it in regard to the violence and guns. Worth a watch all the same. Thought the Pan he was wearing was quite cool, although i don't suspect many AD's to where his character was based!! :) I didnt know he was into the Panerai range and certainly didn't realise he had been involved in the design of one of there pieces.
Cheers 4 the info Driver8!!

Kinda funny tho, since in the movie he makes a living catching snakes for a sideshow and driving people around in that boat but he's sporting a Panerai. That profession must pay pretty good  :P .

Also, can you guys identify the watch that the sniper was wearing? There's a pretty good view of it when he is up on the tower just right before he started picking the bad guys off.

Maybe John J Rambo picked himself up a nice genuine Thai replica Panera!
