Greetings Fans,
came to some thoughts about time keeping accuracy in vintage watches, but due to my limited knowledge in time science can not come to a conclusion:
fact: watches were invented fact: they were mechanical movements, fact: like their modified contemporary relatives, old movements were not keeping accurate time, gaining or losing time per day
question: in those times, due to what were the watch owners correcting their time?
would appreciate your knowledge on this issue.
