Have a look at the new Carrera from TAG. It is more or less a reduced version of the Portogieser from IWC. I don't know if they are already on the market, but we have just received the first piece here. Cannot give You the number at the moment, as I am not in the store, will try tomorrow.

I do love the Aqua Terra Chronograph in the White face, but it's about double my price range, but I never did think about a Railmaster.

And I agree, just because a watch is on leather doesn't make it a dress watch. I'd love to grab a White/Silver Navitimer, but they're above my price range for just about all the used ones I've seen.

Pat,
Have you looked at this on TZ? Silver two-tone Navitmer on leather for $2950.

Also, see my PM.

My suggestion is to only buy it if you absolutely love the watch. If you're buying this just for the sake of buying then I would hold off. Save your money and don't make any hasty decisions. When I look back at some of the pieces I own I wish I saved the money and put all towards an amazing piece. Point being don't settle for something. Only buy it if you love it. Not saying the PO isn't a great piece. Just seems from your wording that you like it but don't really love it.

Just my 2 cents

totally agree... I got too greedy in the beginning and started picking up everything and anything... of course started off with the vintage, made some expensive mistakes but all in all a good learning experience...

it's just my tastes have gotten more expensive...

jlee5050 dont worry bud i think it happend to all of us. when you first strart off there is this dollar amount that seems to be the boundary. but as time progresses and you spend more time on the boards the boundaries seem to get pushed or blurred. also tastes change too. so making a purchase of this kind of magnitude really needs to be thought out.

If you are looking into Longines I would 100% recommend the heritage retrograde model. Special movement designed for longines by eta (so I here anyway), fantastic quality, rely quirky dial display, nice 42mm size and fantastic price.

Thanks everyone for the advice!

I think I'm going to sell the Omega Bond since I will really never wear it and get a Planet Ocean for now. I really can't justify getting anything else because I've known I've wanted the PO for a while and like many of you, I buy watches when I feel my money is burning a hole in my pocket.

I probably will look at some vintage watches pretty soon, but I have to admit, I enjoy my watches looking sparkly and new, so it would be something to get used to.

The used Navitimer does look nice and has a good price, the only downside is I'm not a fan of gold.

I do love the Omega Aqua Terra Chronograph (with the Panda dials--White face, black dials), too bad it's around 7k. Hopefully I'll be picking up the Omega sometime soon, and I'll post pics when I do!

Thanks for the advice everyone!
