Breitling Replica Watches

Posted on17 January 2011.

If you’re interested in a Breitling wristwatch, then there is a good chance that you’re a flight enthusiast. Since 1884, the Swiss watchmaker began with the idea that not only time telling devices, but scientifically important measuring devices were relevant for society. Breitling was one of the first wristwatch makers in the world, and spurred innovation in the industry by adding additional stop-watch functions through the addition of a separate push button on the wristwatch. Start, Stop, and Reset were the original functions. This is what really separated Breitling from its competitors, but it wasn’t until much later until the connection between aviation and Breitling congealed.
These separate timing operations are what connected Breitling to the airplane. Pilots needed accurate measurements of time. Eventually their time pieces were even integrated into their cockpits along with the other instruments. The watchmaker also embraced newer technologies by innovating within the digital watch area, although their traditional timepieces have always been more popular. As they’ve been innovators, they are now faced with a new challenge. That is – convincing people that their watches are worth the cost. Breitling fake watches are becoming increasingly available and popular.
You may now ask yourself, am I really interested in such an accurate time piece, or am I just interested in the look and the brand name of Breitling? After all, this accuracy is the main reason Breitling is so connected to air traffic. If you’re interested in a Breitling because of that connection but not so that you can accurately use their stop-watch functions, there is another route for you. For most people, a Breitling fake would serve the same purpose of style. Most people can’t tell the difference between a Breitling fake watch and an original, and you might feel like a savier consumer as well.

interesting post. how does the old saying go "the greatest for of flattery is immitation" or something like that. On the one hand I personally would never want to wear a fake time piece. to me if i cannot afford it, then its probably not for me. but there are scores of people who would disagree with me. all you have to do is take a look at how big this counterfeit market actually is. IMO the person that wrote that article/post seems to be trying to find a way to justify why one would consider buying or using a replica.

The average person who knows nothing about watches, most would think that the lot of us here are NUTS to spend the type of money that we do. In their minds its just a watch and most people probably couldnt tell the difference between fake or real. For me personally I just dont like the idea of portraying something that i am not. it like masking a lie within a lie.

just my two cents

The only way I could personally see a way of maybe Justifying buying a Replica is that if you have the original watch yourself and would want a fake to put in a safe to stop thiefs stealing the genuine artical, just an idear if you were going to go down that road.

What I could never understand is if your just like the design of example: Rolex Submariner, but cannot afford the genuine thing there is enough watches that look similair to the Rolex for 50 euros +...other words why buy the fake if it's only about design?, cos obvioulsy the history nor the movement means nothing to you.
