Does this watch come in white as well? I thought it was only black. I see pictures every now and then of a White one, but on the website there is only black in SS. :roll:

I'm pretty sure it's just in black but there is an le with a brownish dial.

Yea I see that...but google Big Pilot and click on images....there are some with White Dials.

IWC has done a few LE's with a white dial. They usually command a big premium, IIRC.

I believe they made a special edition Big Pilot in platinum with a white/silver dial. Anytime I hear platinum is hear $$$$$$$$$$

I believe the white/silver dial was a Japanese limited edition. If you're still looking for a gift for your dad, just buy this set and you can keep one.

When I saw these a while back I wanted to get them so bad since my name is Alexander and my older brother by 10 years is Peter...I thought they were meant for us, IWC was sending subliminal messages in their ads...until I saw the price :cry:

For sure he would have gotten the platinum, in-house movement, etc...the smaller one is the same as the iwc pilot mark xvi with the ETA...
