Actually I find gold highly over-rated as a watch material once the initial rush wears off. I'm good with the poor man's white gold - SS!! The sky may be the limit for my sights, but my heart is pure pedestrian. To thine own self be true. Or some such bullsh#t.

i like the look of the gold. maybe its due to the fact that i have never had a chance to own a gold piece. but i would be scared to ding it up since gold is softer than steel. i couldnt agree with your more sharkman....SS is the way to go. plus i think that SS looks more modern IMO.
