Has anyone seen this watch in person? I am not a big fan of the fifty fathoms but I saw a photo of the FF in PVD and it looks incredible!!!!!!!

I think it has a sapphire crystal over the bezel. I'm pretty sure Altair mentioned that when he did the review of his but I'm not too sure. That thing is sexy as hell though.

I knew the one Altair has was sapphire, but I couldn't tell on this one...love that look, and it is extremely durable.

The ff is ok, but doesn't make much of a statement for me. The rose gold one is nice, but I don't love it.

I totally agree with you there that the FF isn't a statement piece as such. The Corum most definitely is though and with your wrists FEAR it's clearly the one to go for! I do like that Corum myself, and I think it's a nice looking thing, but personally I'd have to have the FF (although I'd go for the standard SS version of the PVD).
