Serge i understand what youre saying about enjoying the collection. hard to say though what the right number of watches is. maybe the question for me would be how much disposable income do I have? currently i only have 3 pieces in my collection. but i could see myself owning alot more even if i never really used them.

Let's say for a second that we remove disposable income from the equation...how many would you want to own that you can comfortably enjoy them all? I guess there is no right or wrong answer to this question; everyone will enjoy their watches differently, whether it's only a few times a year for larger collections or a few times a month for the smaller collections. I think I would prefer to stay in the 6-7 range because 12 was too many for me.

Well if money s no object I'd say 6-7 is a good number. Enough variety where you'd have all your bases covered without getting bored but not too many that you would get overwhelmed with everything that you have. But then something new would come out and I know I'd just have to have it so my 6-7 would wind up being 23.

It is, isn't it? I'm just glad that I don't have your bank account. Well on the other hand...

8 would be ideal for myself. i dont really have categories as to diver, sport, dress etc.... as long as i love it i want it in my collection. i dont think that i would put them into every day rotation just pull them out as and when i felt like it i suppose

after having 6 then now down to 3 i would say that sensibly 3 is a good number. So you have your beater, posh and evrery day. But now that i am on 3 i think that 6 would be best  brake down:

1) Beater
2) Evrey day 1
3) Evrey day 2
4) Evrey day 3
5) Smart (but not to showey)
6) Special

Sigh..

Well, I'm down to THREE now.

The Navi-World is sold.

Still thinking four is the right number for me though.

Realistically? One.
I have several, but really only use one 99.99% of the time. The rest are fun to look at however. :D

New member's opinion....I think 7-8 different watches is enough to give one sufficient variety. I wear most of mine in a pretty regular rotation.

I think the ideal formula for me is 7 watches i can wear as daily wearers, and one special watch for special occasions...
This week however i have not switched up and ive worn the new :lingsrock: every day for quite a while now....at some point I will get back to the rotation but for the moment I'm not compliant with my own formula, lol.

Somewhere in the range of 12-15 would be good, I guess. :)
