What is your take on B&R watches. I know they haven't been in business too long but have they already built a strong reputation on quality and performance? I've never been a fan of square watches, even the bentley line; Thats just not me. But I have to admit, the B&R's are definitely growing on me quite a bit. I think the 46mm Square is a little much but a 42mm square on the wrist isn't to bad.

Your opinions please.

for me, they are square, both literally and figuratively.

I used to own a 03-92 (42mm) square case. Liked the look of the dial with the 'instrument' hands, easy to read, good lume. The square case didn't bother me. What I had trouble with was getting the OEM straps to fit well, didn't like their design. I bought a couple of aftermarket canvas straps which helped, but in the end I let it go. It kept good time but they tend to run a little pricey for what you get IMO.

A little pricey for what you get, but personally, I like em. I have a few, and they are great watches to wear for utility work etc..

I have a BR03 Phantom and LOVE IT. But I bought mine used from the original purchaser. I let him take the hit from retail. I think that new B&R's are overpriced at MSRP, but the secondhand market seems to get the price down to "yeah its still a little high... but damn cool and I want it" price.

As far as comfort, this is my most comfortable watch.. bar none. Its light weight and with the rubber strap you forget that its on your wrist. I dont care for the nylon straps. The lume pretty much sucks on the Phantom but I think other models aren't terrible. FYI

I tried on an 01 something, can't remember the other number. I wanted to like it but it was WAY too big for me. I have over a 7" wrists, but I'm only 5'8", so it just looked dumb on me. I like the look of the 03's and I really like the rounded 02's, but like pretty much everyone else has said, I think that they're overpriced.

Had 2 and I love them, as I said in the other thread, although I don't love the price tag.

I thought the BR01 was ok on me, despite my small wrist, but then I'm not a small guy.
