 Yet another truly awesome piece Altair! Fantastic stuff.

Oh and while I actually like Natos on some watches....... this isn't one of them I'm afraid! It's just somehow too "low rent" for such an amazing watch.

Great pictures as always as well.

You need to actually see and feel this strap my friend, nothing low rent about it!! material is superb, and the finish on the metal sewn in parts is amazing! I can definitely see where you are going with this however, it does have a very military tool feel. I will post pics of it on the calf molded strap, quite luxurious in contrast!

I must be honest but it does look very good quality. Did it come with the watch or is that an aftermarket one? If it's aftermarket can I ask where you got it from please?

EDIT - Just re-read that it came with the watch. So it's got the usual JLC quality there then. No wonder it's such great quality!

Oh yes JLC, it comes with every version as the second option. I just need to get that Ti bracelet now, and maybe the rubber articulated one too

Now that I have the SEALs diver on the calf, guess where the Nato is? HINT: its on another diver I have been experimenting with!

Love the watch...I mean really like it, but I don't get the Nato strap. I'm sure the strap is of much better quality in person, but it looks like a belt my grandfather would wear. To me it makes the watch look cheaper.

To each their own...very nice addition Altair.

Ok that was funny

Then I guess you wouldn't like it on the Deepsea?

Much prefer that strap Altair.

I also highly recommend the rubber link bracelet - extremely nice.

Ok...I love the 2nd strap you have on the JLC...that looks killer!!!

And no, I don't like the strap anymore on the SDDS than on the JLC. I can't think of a watch that I would like that thing on. Why is the strap so long? (I guess they had left over material when they cut the belt up :poke: ).

See now I think that calf strap makes the watch look very plain. IMHO.

Very, very nice watch! I want one.

I might be in the minority but I like the Bond NATO, it suits this watch. And that one in particular (with the JLC buckle) looks great.

So is that a true "sandwich" dial?
