I'm obviously in the minority as the deep sea remains my favourite Rolex. I actually really like the clasp, it fits my wrist well. Each to their own as usual :D

I think if my wrist was a different size I would have kept the watch and overlooked the aesthetics issue with the bracelet size JUST because the case and all is so AMAZING. Like RJRJRJ I WANTED to like it, but alas ...

I'm another one who really wanted to like it. On paper it seemed like THE perfect watch for me, but I completely agree with mboverst, this is a mutation of a classic design and it doesn't work for me.

Interestingly, I feel completely the opposite way from Driver8 - in the flesh the issue was much worse than it looked in pics.

Now that I've said all that, I'll probably change my mind and end up wearing one within a year.

I tried both the Deep Sea and the Plo Prof on at the same time.

I bought the Plo Prof because I appreciated the extra levels of detail and also the unique case design. Plus the £1.5K that stayed in my pocket. :D

I appreciate you say you will get the GMT Master II (which is another awesome 'piece by the way) but have you considered the Plo Prof as an alternative?

Please see my review here:

I think they are quite cool, but not a good fit for me, primarily due to size.
