Was at my AD today, looking at length at some of the Perrelet models they have. They have a good selection, and I guess the most interesting was the Regulator with retrograde hours. The hour hand moves in a linear direction to 12, then snaps back to 1. Here is a link to a better description:

I was amazed at the detail in this watch. Not something I could even think of buying - about $11,000.CAD, but if I had the funds it would definitely be in my collection. Very intriguing. I was more impressed with their Classic line - the Three Hands with Big Date. The website photos do none of these watches justice, however, the attention to detail is wonderful. Not only the dial, but the sides, the exhibition back, the deployment clasp whose sides match the sides of the case. The movement is beautifully decorated. The balance wheel is more like a frame, with the centre exposing the movement underneath. At the round edge of the balance wheel, is a strip of gold to give added weight. I hope that I am explaining all this clearly, and I really wish that I could find some website that would have photos at all angle of these watches.
Anyway, hope you find the info at the link of interest, and pay a visit to the website as well. Only two AD's in Canada, fortunately one in Vancouver, and as Roff knows the other is in Toronto.
Cheers,
Carl

After my initial post, I did find a website which features the exhibition back of one of their watches:

I've had a look at the Perrelet Regulator a few times, it does appeal to me in terms of a 'different' watch. I've just never quite felt that the arabics work for me - they seem to dominate slightly too much, but they are definitely a unique look and extremely well made.
