Well after much deliberation, a price that couldnt be beat, and a short wait time I purchased a Pam 00. I am very happy with the purchase but I will say that Breitling is still where my heart lies. Anyway heres the watchporn. Wrist shots ![]() ![]() Boxes/Watch ![]() ![]() ![]() Lume ![]() The kids ![]() ![]() |

WOW! I have the same 2 watches. That's a great combination to have. You're going to enjoy rotating between them. The simplicity of one really compliments the complexities of the other...congrats! Just out of curiosity...you mentioned you got a great deal. How fortunate were you? I know the Ads in my area (Washington DC) didn't budge at all on price but were only able to throw in another OEM strap. ___________________ Panerai 000 Breitling AS |

They compliment one another for the reasons you mentioned above. I didnt get another strap unfortunatley, but I'll pm you the price. |

Congrats, it goes very well with the AS. How long do you think it will take for you to start ordering more straps? I held out for, um, about a week... ![]() |

I held out for, um, about a week... ![]() I dont know actually, I've been browsing a little and have only found a few that I liked. I like the vintage syle leather/calf with the large stitching. Some of their prices are a bit out there to me and yes im tracking on how much these watches cost, lol. But I'm not going to pay more for an aftermarket than an oem. You got any pics of yours? |

No pics yet, I need to get the camera out and take some. Maybe next weekend... I ordered a couple of straps from Manifatture Firenze and was very impressed with the quality for the price (I paid about 75 euros each, and they were delivered from Florence to Australia in only a few days). I've got it on a black calf leather with large titanium grey stitching at the moment. |

Wow! Love that Panerai! The Basic line - Luminor or Radiomir - is my favourite. Just waiting for a new leather strap from Micah at VintagerStraps, he was great to deal with. He sent me a shot of the strap when it was finished, and it looks great. http://vintagerstraps.com/ Great combo of watches! Have fun with the new Panerai. Did you pick it up in Italy? Cheers, Carl |

So simple, I was trying these on at my local AD this weekend and they're terrific. I'm probably starting with an homage first due to my budget. Yours is really nice! |

Cheers, Carl No, though Rome did have a great selection in the 2 AD's I went to. Tried a bunch on. I picked it up in Germany. Living here has advantages and disadvantages as an American. The plus is that I can get watches without the vat tax which saves alot of money, especially in the case of the Panerai, not so much with the Breitling though, I dont know why. dpj17 wrote: So simple, I was trying these on at my local AD this weekend and they're terrific. Nice logo. I'd love to throw a 005 into the collection one day. |
