Really cant think of anything to write that hasn“t already been said by Carl & co... this is a great watch.
Fitted it with the OR instantly, and I think the black dial is a perfect match. I did get the brushed Pro II as well, but that will have to wait a while.

Hmmm... OK, one thing. I wish that it was 24 mm between the lugs. Then it would have been PERFECT. But it is damn close ;)

Congratulations! Well worth the wait I guess? :) Nice and clear pics, it really looks good on the black OR.

Nice one Henrik, and great pictures too!

What's the Breitling logo'd background that it's on by the way?

I think it was part of some larger display thing... got it from my AD.
Damnfoolman has used a similar one as background in his beautiful pics as well...?

(BTW, this Seawolf is a part of why I cant buy the Le Mans at the moment, your timing was awful D8!!!)

My girlfriend says that too!

In actual fact, the Le Mans may be coming off sale very soon due to other developments, so your purchasing of your gorgeous new Seawolf may actually be a blessing in disguise for me too!

Thanks for posting more great pics of this superb watch.

Agree it is certainly becoming the "breitling" of the moment 8)

The ocean racer strap combined with the wolf looks spot on.

This Ling is really tempting me BIG TIME ! :)

I remain true to the old style Seawolf (which I'm wearing as I write) but I have to say that your photos make the new dial look fantastic.

The dial is very nice, just take a look at this close up I found on the web:

One day I will hopefully learn to take pics like these too:

Well, you got it at last! I am sure you are every bit as thrilled by yours as I am by mine. Mine has the brown leather on it now, but seeing your pics tempts me to put the OR back on.
Exellent photos! I see you got the OR with polished bracelet as well. My AD offered to brush the clasp for me, but I decided not too. Still an option, though. Only problem is, once it is brushed, more difficult to go back to polished. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised how well the polished clasp does work.
I agree with you about the lug width. I would have been happier with 24mm, but that is not really more than an observation, not a complaint. I was actually very pleased how well the PRO II and OR fitted it. I find that the Breitling leather strap I have looks narrow, I think because the white stitching is in so far from the edges, and that with the contrast against the dark brown narrows it a bit. Also, it makes the taper more noticeable. Although there is a taper on the OR and PRO II, it is not as obvious. I have been seriously looking at getting a Panerai style leather aftermarket leather strap for it. It would not be tapered, and I think the effect would be better.
Have fun with the new Seawolf!
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks for all your feedback!

Regarding the OR clasp - I would never brush it! Since the Seawolf actually only looks brushed when seen from the front, I think that a polished clasp is the only way to go. And it has been said before and it is worth repeating; that OR clasp is just fantastic!!!!

The Seawolf has also cured my lust for the Rolex DeepSea... it feels just tiny and insignificant. And who really needs to go deeper? ;)

Carl: If you find a nice thick (or even FAT!) non-tapering, Pan-style strap somewhere, let me know - I want a leather option as well.
