I sat down and took some group shots and attempted a few close ups. I havent the right equipment for those super close up macros, i'd rather have more watches. :)

First heres the collection shot.

Heres a group LUME shot. Charged the group with a 75w light bulb held at 4-6" over top of watches for about 1 minute. The Phantom is clearly lacking in the lume department. Maybe all that blackness is sucking the light away! :)

hey, thats a really cool collection you've got going on there. well done.

that citizen actually looks very nice. i thought it was a iwc da vinci from the first pic!!!!

in regards to the lume, i naturally assumed these phantom watches would be extra bright in the lume department to compensate for the dull dial color????

Thanks for the comments. I almost hate to think what the collection will look like in a few years, because everything except the Citizen and the vintage watch was bought last year! oooops :)

I would have thought the lume on the Phantom would have been better but its not half the lume power of the Breitlings and it doesnt last nearly as long either. Frankly I could care less, I bought it for how it looks in the daylight, so what little lume power (compared to the Breitlings) it has is enough to get by at night.

Bronco, what a great collection, didn't realise you were infected with the Breitling Bug to that extent! :D

Very nice collection. You should be proud of that group. And you even have the "Homer" watch :D If you look closely at the Citizen, it looks like Homer Simpson eating a donut. Sorry, I found this quite amusing the first time someone pointed it out to me.

Congrats again on a great collection.

I love those cufflinks! Where did you pick them up?

I got mine from a seller on eBay. One of the other members started the cufflink need, when they posted theirs that they received from his wife for x-mas. I had never seen such a cool item so I promptly wentto eBay and found my own! It took me a little longer to find just the right pair, because I am particular for matching sets. Do a search for steampunk cufflinks and you can find quite a few from several different users.
