Here's a couple of pics of the new watchwinder with both the SA and AS! As you will notice there's not much room and these two watches are about the biggest you will fit into this winder, they don't quite touch but there not far apart. If you had, say, two SA's they wouldn't fit so If your looking to purchase this winder and have more than one watch in it be careful. Apart from that the winder seems to do the job at the moment, time will tell(pardon the pun) but for £60 its not such a big deal if it doesn't last forever! ![]() ![]() Cheers |

Hey that looks pretty good for the money, Andrew............ BUT I'd have to put something between the crown of the SA and the AS to stop any scratches if they touch. They look MIGHTY close together. ![]() |

That brings up an interesting question... What's the best winder to hold LARGE watches (say 4)? I''m tiring of winding all of mine. If the winders are good quality, silent and cost effective I'll need to buy a few. What does everyone have? |

@Driver8 - The angle I'm holding the camera it looks like they are touching but you do have 2mm spare, I know that doesn't sound a lot but I can guarantee they don't touch! @Mario - As said above there is about 2mm gap so they don't touch. When they wind the watches are fitted very snuggly they certainly won't move so there isn't a problem at all. Folks, I know they are in very close proximity to one another and that this is quite a hefty combination but I'm not worried about it at all it gives you an idea though of what is the maximum this winder can hold. Cheers |

By the way just checked the time against both my Breitlings: Skyland seems to be running 15 seconds behind and the SA 27 seconds behind. Thats after a week and is as accurate as I can be with my eyes. I used timeanddate.com to check. I don't know if there is a better way to check, I'm not sure whate the rest of you guyz do! Cheers |

Very similar to my winder, mine is the 4 version and then holds an additional 6 static. By the way, my new SA is running at +8 seconds per day! My Navi World at +4 and the Seawolf at +2 Stef |

I decided to go with the Buben & Zorweg President 6 because it met all my needs. Top quality, German made. It has 3 winders that each hold 2 watches. Each winder has individual control knobs to adjust on/off/sleep mode, turn direction (CW, CCW or both) and # of turns per day (650, 800 or 900) so you can customize it to each watch's individual requirements. Plus there's 8 more pillows to hold the rest of the collection and a pull out drawer below for straps, cufflinks, tools, etc. I've read that the Elma motor is supposed to be near silent when running. I just ordered it on Tuesday and am expecting it on Monday! Can't wait! http://www.watchcases.com/6wawi14wacam.html |

http://www.watchcases.com/6wawi14wacam.html I hear the Elma motor is made in China and gets really noisy after a few days. I also heard that after a couple of months, it can sound like a pneumatic drill, and the noise abatement people will be banging on your door.......... ![]() ![]() ![]() Looking forward to a few pics of that baby up and running! |
