No Breitlings here - just some unusual designs which caught my eye. Other than the Nazca which I really like, I think they are best described as "conversation pieces"! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone with more of the same ilk? |

Wow! They're great..... well most of them! ![]() I love the RSW Nazca too. Great looking piece. The Fortis is pretty amusing...... but not one to own. I actually really like that MB&F movement. Gonna be an odd shaped watch to fit it though. The Dent is a bit dull in such company(!), but I think that Hysek is brilliant! ![]() I like parts of the De Witt (the constrasting colours and the rivetted look), but the case shape is daft. The next one looks like DaVinci had designed it...... or Fred Flintstone! I'd love to see it working. Who is it made by? And the last one is just hideous. Great find there Sharky! ![]() |

I included the Dent as it is supposed to (and does) resemble the face of Big Ben. As you say, rather dull in this company! The "Da Vinci" watch is the Roman Jerome Cabestan Titanic DNA Vertical Tourbillon watch. Btw, the Nazca is 49mm ![]() |

Some of those arte truly bizarre. Admin blogged about the Hysek a few weeks ago and that one is not too bad. I would love to own a Busser (MB&F) at some point, their designs are something that I could very easily live with. |

cool pieces although the fact that i've seen most of them makes me feel quite the watch geek. The Fortis is actually pretty cool with its 'rebellious aesthetic'. Reminds me of the Prodigy remixes album cover. The MB&F is unbelievable (i wonder how comfortable it would be sitting on your wrist?) and the DeWitt is a wonderfully conceptual piece of design and mixing of materials. Takes the protruding 'Graham' look to a whole new level. Finally, the Hysek is superb but just imagine catching that globe on a door or table. |

The DeWitt WX-1 is priced at €400,000, about $500,000. Just 33 have been made. Full story http://ablogtoread.com/2008/06/15/experience-with-the-dewitt-wx-1-concept-a-watch-defying-convention-with-unorthodox-yet-timeless-composure/ |
