Lovely watch. Looks great on the wrist.

(Bezels needs a bit of aligning though! )

It definitely suits you, and has real presence on the wrist.

Yes, nice one... I was a bit sceptic to the model, but it grows on me.

And the size is impressive. The SOH looks small in comparison, and in real life that is NOT a small watch.

Just curious; how does the rubber bezel feel? Is it hard like plastic or is it like, say, a rubber strap in softness?

Nice shots! I think the SOH looks killer on the black croco!

I'm sure mah will come up with a reply, but I've handled 3 of these and I'd say that the rubber is somewhere in between the 2 extremes you've quoted. Not as part as plastic, but harder than a rubber strap.

Love the size, I think it's a few mm bigger than my Hercules. Bigger is better :)

As far as the rubber bezel, the way the watch is designed it is just a little below the line of the crystal unlike the "Avenger type" that sit higher. It is like Driver mentioned the rubber is a bit harder than the rubber on a racer strap. If you press your finger nail on the edge it will catch, it dosen't dent it. It has a matt finish as you can see from the pictures. One of the things that impressed me when I first "played" with the watch was how smooth the bezel moved with a tiny clicking.

You're a lucky guy...
They're hard to get.
I've ordered the black dial (silver sub dials) and my AD dsays none in stock at BUSA. Will have to wait a while.

Big price difference from the 'ordinary' chrono-matics but worth it.My AD gave me a GREAT price so it's worth it to wait...

I can't wait to see the black dial version. I got lucky and the area Rep from the west coast pulled a couple strings and got this one for me out of the first batch. Otherwise she would have had to give up her only one. They promised it to me in three weeks. Part of the deal, I look forward to seeing the black....

Thanks for all the kind coments.

I tried on (AGAIN) a black dial one at my AD the other day. It's grown on me even more recently...... so much so that I might have to put it on my list.

Fortunately, my list (well, my realistic list anyway!) "only" consists of a black dial Monty Legende TT and maybe a baton marker white dial SA on either blue croc or black OR, so adding this one isn't too bad! :)
