Great combo, considering trying that on my black faced CSO! Superb pics.

The Crosswind was (and still is to this day) an absolutely stunning piece. In fact the two-tone, blue dial Crosswind was one of the prime reasons I got into Breitlings in the first place...... and also the reason a couple of my old Chronologs got covered in drool!

If Breitling could re-release the Crosswind (without messing it up of course) it'd be a great day.

Hi, Mario. 'Member this blue dial two tone beauty with matching UTC which I regrettably sold a few years ago? I just had to scratch the itch with this black SS CW when it jumped at me. I actually bought it intending to flip but you know how difficult that will prove to do... :?

Ron

This is the exact model that sparked my Breitling subconscious but, as you know, I went the "Professional" route with my B-1s, B-2s, Emergencies etc.,dabbled with a couple of the "Aeromarines" and an Old Navitimer. Ironically I have never owned any of the Windrider range however, as always, your magnificent pics stir the grey cells and I am again in the realm of "what if......?

Have a good weekend :)

Hi, Gav. I hear you. I was all over Navi's and Pro pieces but the CW always seemed to "sing" to me. I sold the blue kit sometime after I acquired the slate Evo/UTC kit. Thing is, my new Lady friend wears the Evo most of the time now and I'm too lazy to put the two links back in the bracelet to fit my wrist. Admittedly, the diamonds look better on her than they do on me but in point of fact, I was missing the style of the Evo when this black dial CW jumped up and grabbed me. Or maybe it was the other way around... I actually snagged the CW with the intention of flipping it but unless I do it in the near future, it will likely glue itself to my wrist like the B-1 did. I also considered the white dial/MOP subs piece identical to James' CW in the post above this one but opted for the black cuz the Romans seem more prominent. I do love the white dial but I know I"m being greedy if I pull the trigger on the one I found. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you a PM with the deal information which is really, really good. Lord, keep me away from the computer...

Best,
Ron

EDIT: PS. Check your PM's Gav...
