Well after years of wanting a nice, aviation themed, watch I finally purchased my first Breitling. I am a USAF Navigator on the HC-130P (combat rescue modified C-130). I got a used Transocean Unitime in like new condition with all the original paperwork and still under manufacturer warranty. This was the first high end watch that really spoke to me enough to finally pull the trigger. Without further ado...
I love the design and had to search a lot to find one in the configuration I wanted. I wanted the brown croco strap to go with my brown leather flight jacket, and I wanted the white face so that, combined with the globe graphic, it would look like an aeronautical chart. Although I will still wear my issued Casio Pathfinder for most of my flying (back lighting, updates via atomic clock, and i don't care if it gets beat up while stumbling around the plane in the dark at night) I do plan to fly my Breitling on some daytime flights, and will be sure to update this thread with some pics of the Transocean in the plane.
