Hi all,

Picked up one of the Insider Mags at my AD yesterday.

It's a great read, and some super photography in there.

Stole a few pages for some backdrops.

Wow, very nice shots! I've been hunting for a yellow M1 for a while now. Had a chance at a good one (recently serviced) a while back but wasn't ready to pull the trigger then. How does the M1 size wear on the wrist, specifically the thickness? Thanks,

Terry

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the kind comment!

The CA M1 is a lovely piece, extremely light considering it's size.

I have a Avenger Seawolf Chrono too, and it's very weighty in comparison. Steel Vs Titanium will do that.

But they are pretty chunky beasts. I don't wear a suit much, but the height of the M1 would make it catch on the sleeve I think. I do wear long sleeve T'-s and you certainly notice it.

But it's a comfy watch in general terms. The bracelet is always warm!

Hope that helps a little

Dave

Thanks Dave,
I don't wear dress clothes, long sleeve sweatshirts in the winter. The biggest problem I have with the thick pieces is that they tend to flop around or rotate on the wrist due to being top heavy. The titanium of the M1 may help this, depending on the fit of the bracelet or strap. I also am considering a B1. How would you say the B1 fits compared to the M1? (as far as staying put on the wrist). Good chance that I would put a Breitling rubber strap w/deployant on either.

Hi Terry,

Without a doubt the B1 is more comfortable. Heavier of course, but it's slightly smaller profile really helps.

Definitely with the CA and Seawolf I find they tend to gravitate towards the left of my wrist.

The B1 works well on the rubber too, especially the Pro III. This might be a Tang only strap 'tho, I'm not sure…

If I get time later, I'll stick a couple of comparison wrist shots up for you to see.

Sorry about the quality, just a quick phone shoot! Hope it helps give a little perspective.
