Hey all,

Decided to get my Headwind serviced by Breitling Australia. They have done a fantastic job removing nearly all imperfections in the bracelet etc. For an 8 year old watch it looks stunning. I probably wont hold onto this guy for all that long, as it gets minimal wrist time, but here is a few quick shots.....

He's come up a treat. Superb stuff.

The main Breitling service centres all seem to do a fantastic job. Dare I say, their service is definitely worth the money.

I really like this watch :) . Very elegant, distintive, and simple styling. I like the day of the week display at the top of the watch, too.

What was the last year that Breitling made this watch? Was it in the Windrider or Aerospace family? Anyone know why they stopped making it - guessing it just was not a good seller :?: :?: Not sure why :?

Anyways, great looking watch - looks brand new after the servicing.

OOPS, I meant Aeromarine family, not Aerospace. Had Aerospace on my brain from the last post I read :?

thanks for the compliments.

@finallymadeit - the headwind was part of the windrider family, and made between 2001 and 2005.

I really like the look of the watch, its just that its probably the most dressy watch I have, and therefore means I dont wear it as much as my others...

oh and BTW, as I have had people asking me by PM, the service cost for this was $AUS 420. This is apparently the price for non-chronograph watches. Now back 6 months ago, that price was comparable with the US cost I believe for a similar service, but now the aus dollar has taken an almighty tumble who knows whether the costs will change? I am hoping not, as I guess the labour is local and that would be the majority of the cost....

yeh it was a nice surprise to see it done so well. Before I got it back, I had pretty much decided to sell it, so its now up in the for sale section. Not even worn since returned, they dont come better than this.....
