Hi all,

Many of us have bought pieces, and then, for whatever reason, have sold them on.

I thought it might be fun to see which ones got dropped.

My 1st one is of a lovely Navitimer Heritage, I sold this because I felt it was a bad luck watch. I totally messed up one pitch for business whilst wearing it, got told we'd lost that client a week later…..whilst wearing it…and was told of the death of a close friend whilst …yep you can guess the rest.

ps It was me that was crap, not the watch…

The others just left for various reasons.

Anyhoo, just for old times sake.

Too shiney

Sat too heavy on my wrist

Got bored not being able to change the strap

Just preferred the B1 somehow..

There are others, but no pics….

Take care

Davey

Wow, Davey, you've had quite the collection over the years. I can't add much to this discussion because I'm like Roff and never intend on selling any of my watches. However, I'm interested to see what others post.

My first sale was this Evo. I loved the dial color but for some reason didn't bond with it and sold it after 2 months.

Image

The Milgauss was the next watch I sold. I wished the dial was a more true black than the charcoal color. I also wish it had a date. It wore very well on the wrist and I liked the added size and weight.

Image

I sold this to help fund my SubC. The lume was amazing but I wish I had just gotten it on the bracelet.

Image

This was another watch I sold to fund the SubC. Having this on the bracelet was a lot nicer than the strap option. I love the unique look to the dial. The movement ran well within COSC specs and it wore very well.

I haven't saved many pictures, which is a god thing as it saves me about 2 days of posting! :)

This looks like a weekend project, which is to say I have sold too many.

I have sold too many Breitlings, many of which I wish I still had. The Crosswind LE and Montbrillant Olympus are probably the ones I miss the most.

I'm happy with the trio I have now, but it would have been ideal if I could have kept every watch instead of trading and selling. Live and learn I guess ;)

"Sold" back to BUSA after it was declared DOA and not repairable..........

Image

.....got a nice discount on a new Breitling Colt Chrono II. Yes, I like the bezel/case design as it mimics the lands and grooves of a (Colt) pistol and therefore connects with one of my hobbies. SQ because this rotation slot gets a lot of sporting abuse.

I think we would crash the server with the number of photos we'd have to post. Too play along I'll just post the two I miss the most. Btw Davey you take some amazing photos!!!

Like that Sky Racer you had Davey. Was just looking the other day at used ones on the sales boards  .

Here are a few of the Breitlings that are gone.
.
.
.
Almost went blind trying to read this one, was fun for a while though.
Image

Traded this one for... something ?
Image

Thought I was a Navitimer guy for a bit, just never wore this one.
Image

Really regretting letting this one go (idiot).
Image

Liked the fit and big date on the Cockpit, just too shiny for my purposes.
Image

Enough for now. Great topic, reminds me what a crazy hobby this is  .

Hey, hope you are well!

That 1st JLC is a really beauty, I too would be missing that one!

Thanks for the kind comment on the pics, I waste too much time messing with camera and the watches.

Sometimes wonder if I bargained hard enough when I traded this one. Got a Speedmaster 3570.50 (now traded for a 40th anniversary Apollo XI) and a silver dialed Navitimer A23322.
