So pretty much the entire year I've had my eye on a blue dial AP Royal Oak. Missed out on a couple of chances to snag one, and then this one came along and I had to snatch it up. Been on the wishlist for awhile and I know from past posts I've had a few gripes on the bezel click and lack movement finishing. Well all that has gone out the window. Watchfred already saw it on Instagram but I'd thought I'd share it on my home forum as well. This thing shimmers like no other, yet maintains such a low profile and under the radar.

Beautiful watch my friend! I love the 50 Fathoms, and would love to add the chrono version to my collection one day. Thanks for sharing it, and don't be stingy with the pictures!

Thank you everyone!! To answer 1952's question...

It is big. But not grossly oversized. The official size is 45mm but because the lugs are short it wears quite nice. What's really impressive about this piece is the 3 barrel movement providing 100 hour PR.

I'm happy you didn't get the chrono. I really love the simple & clean look of the non-chrono.

Btw, that blue dial AP Royal Oak is on its way home. I share some pics when I get it.

Yeah that's a great watch jlee. Just a classic diver; one of my all time favorites. It looks great on your wrist (and personally I'm glad it can handle those of us with slim-wrists), and has just a great presence about it.
