Superb photograph as always Ron. I came here as I knew there would be a great pic, and for no other reason.

a hastily contrived shot which I took yesterday evening exactly two seconds before 5 P.M. (1700 CST). I was leaving the house for a trip to the grocery store and realized there were a few more minutes of (cloudy) daylight left. Pulled out of the garage, stopped the engine, popped the hood, placed the watch on the engine cover and took one quick handheld shot. Braced myself as best I could against the fan shroud but fortunate to have an image stabilizing lense attached anyway. Surprising sometimes that a quick and dirty (literally) pic can turn out reasonaably nice looking I think. Seems like that happens more often when the composition is kept fairly simple, sometimes even austere. Anyway, it's an enjoyable hobby and helps occupy time for me these days... :)
Best,
Ron
