I traded in 2 rolexes for 5 Breitlings from my Local AD. Here is the 1st one that I picked up. Chronomat GMT Blacksteel. I'll post pictures of the others when they get picked up. I decided on the Chronomat Blacksteel, Transocean Unitime, Avenger, Aerospace, and Chronomat 44

I saw this one in an AD's window at the weekend, and while I'm not personally a fan of surface coatings, I thought it was a very nice looking piece.

Nice pick up! Congrats.

Ooooooooooohhhhh..........

I like that. I realize you picked it up on a trade, but what is retail $$ for that?

Retail is $10,200 but I have seen them listed for $12,000 on Chrono 24.

The wrist shot looks off because I didn't cut the rubber, I didn't want to size the rubber until I knew if I was going to keep it or not.

Haha, it's amazing but I already have a blacksteel blackbird! I traded in rolexes to a friend that owns a AD and he wanted to purchase them for his store and gave me a deal on 5 breitlings in trade and I figured I could sell the 5 Breitlings for more then I would of got for the Rolexes, so now I can pass on the savings to fellow members!!

I'm quite new here and I don't want to stir the pot too much but...

This sounds a bit fishy to me. I can tell you that $12000 is nowhere near the retail value of this watch and one would assume that if you were trading watches to the extent that you seem to do you would know the value of what you are trading! And it doesn't take long on google to find out what the retail value of the watch is.

Furthermore, why are the Rolexes and the frank muller you traded in for sale on ebay under your name?

Retail is $10,200. Are you selling these watches for your AD 'friend'? I'm not buying that you traded in 2 rolexes for 5 breitlings and now you're going to sell them all. Odd story to me and an even more odd sales pitch 'pass on the savings along to fellow members'.

Ok, if it's so easy to Google maybe you should search my threads.

The rolexes & franck muller were not the ones that I traded in. I didn't know I had to fully explain myself for everyone's enjoyment.

I traded in a rolex president, rolex yacht master II, for them. I got a better deal doing the trade. I misread the retail question, I just found one online for $12,000. I told him the ones i would want and he told me yes or no. Now you have the back story. I'm not selling them all. I am selling a couple of them. I deal with AD's and buy & sell watches as you can tell from my thread. Next time, I will just post them for sale and not try sharing any stories since you guys are a tough crowd.

Guys I had a great transaction with Zach. He's a straight shooter, and it's easy enough to get some wrong info from the web. We can move on from here and let the man sell his watches. Live and let live.

Yes, the watch retails from Breitling for 10,210, which we are all aware of. All I was saying is I found it online for 12,000 on Chrono24 (the only one listed on chrono24). Sorry for the confusion of my statement. Anyways, back to the watches guys!! :lingsrock:
