Having been an Omega fan for some years, finally caved in and bought my first Breitling from AMJ in Newark. 'New old stock' Avenger Skyland with Pro 111 Diver.....I love it!

Thanks - really enjoy wearing it, comfortable on the Pro 111. Watch runs a little fast right now (+8-9 seconds a day), I'm right in assuming that it'll settle down after a while?

Can't believe I have my first Breitling!! :D (thanks to AMJ for making it (too) easy)

Generally will slow down a few seconds within the first couple of months. Position that you rest the watch in will also affect it somewhat, flat on its back will run faster than crown up all other factors being equal. Hopefully the crown down position was only temporary for the photo as the watch shouldn't rest on its crown consistently.

Thanks for the advice - photo was just a quick 'pose' - have been resting it 'crown up'. Is it worth buying a winder? other than a Casio Gravity Defier, it's my main day wear.

Having come from Omega Planet Ocean, this feels like another hike up in quality altogether!

No need if it's a daily wearer, and even if there is a day when you don't wear it, you can always wind with the crown.

Thanks Roff - I'm not one for keeping watches in display cases! Going to try to source a steel bracelet, any one have any suggestions other than that well known auction site?

Not that likely to find the right one on eBay as end links are unique to models (you need 132a). Buy / Sell section of the forums are a better chance, but may have to go through Breitling.
