Thanks to Driver I learned about ABP, strapmakers in Paris. I just couldn't resist and today finally some interesting stuff (in my opinion) arrived.

First, I wanted a blue croco strap on deployant for my blue Chronomatic 24H LE. Looks like this in the original state:

I don't mind the original calf strap, but I would prefer a croco strap on deployant. The deployant clasp I already had, so it was just to order the strap for less than half of the Breitling croco:

With a few days wear I figure it will curve around my wrist as it should, but it is already very comfortable - and the padding is excellent.

Then, I figured that if you custom order a strap, why not take it a step further and make something unusual?

The idea was to get something for the white 6.75:

Please forgive the smudged crystal and the misalignment - I was just too excited.

So, here is the python strap:

Yep, you're right - it's fitted to an OR deployant clasp. I thought it could be an interesting idea.

I like it and it is very smooth even from the beginning. I will most likely try to fit it to other Breitlings as well in a near future. :D

Diddo. I have spent way too much time on that site this month.

You can't see them? Strange, I see them so I have no idea what the problem could be. I'll try to re-post them.

I can see them. They're awesome! Great work aleister. The blue croc looks spot on with the Breitling deployant.

Maybe I'll have to concoct something a bit out of the ordinary to go on the B&R... :D

Yes, I am very pleased with the blue croco. I think if the stitching had been white they would have been very similar to the original one (till you turn them and see ABP on the inside). That's the reason I went with blue stitching, I wanted them to be custom and not copy.

Wow, I really like them!

The blue stitching definitely sets that croco one apart from the standard OEM croc. It looks excellent quality as well.

I like the python look too, but I can't help wondering if it would look even better on a more "rugged" watch - like an SA - instead of the more finely constructed Bentley.....

Very nice though, Aleister!

Thanks Driver. After all, it was you that pointed me in their direction. :)

I agree that the python might be better on another watch and I will surely play around a bit. Not sure if it will go with a black dial, but if it doesn't I know where to get more straps. :)

Actually, I don't know. Give me a couple of months and I'll be able to let you know. However, if I notice that they're about to wear off I'll seal the strap with some bee wax and a top seal coating.

Sorry, I have no idea why some can see them and some don't. However, following the link below should take you to a public photo gallery where you definitely should be able to see them:
