The original and the daddy - at least for my punny wrists.

Awesome watch and really hard to caputare the excellent 3d legibility and pop of the dial. I've wanted one since they were released eons ago and this perfect one just showed up at a specialist dealer. Satindoll in Tokyo - mainly a rolex dealer but they have lots of other models across 3 small shops all loctaed in Ueno. Great price on a rolex sub if thats your thing. Back to the avenger - really comfortable watch, the bigger steel ones must be beasts.

Enjoy the pictures!

Thanks all - really loving the watch. The watches b13 movement feels really nice to use - much nicer than the 1990s chronomat I used to have (maybe that one needed a service).

From the bracelet it dates 0501 and on the bottom of the bakelite case there is the rubber/plastic case protector which has 0501 on it too, so I am guessing its 5th week of 2001. The warranty service schedule is dealer stamped (from Argentina) but not dated. I am pretty sure Breitling would be surprised/concerned if I tried to get a warranty repair..

Its super accurate too - 1s per 24hrs (confirmed by the shop too).

The ultimate tool watch for sure!

Gentlement, you both have beautiful versions of ther Avenger. :lingsrock:

Certainly, and in my opinion, they are streets ahead of the Chronomat in looks. Beautifully resolved and detailed. Top shelf. 8)

The designer earned a pay cheque that day.

Congratulations.

Thanks - really loving the watch. Popped the bracelet off and the date stamp is 1301 so an early 2001 example. The dealer confirmed with its current accuracy and having had a look under the hood they had no concerns about its condition. Came with 1 year warranty which is all thats stopping me sending it in for a service at Breitling Tokyo.
