Owning and wearing my Breitling has allowed me to show my TAG Heuer some love so it's been off to be stripped, cleaned, lubed, resealed and recalibrated. Hopefully it should be back home and on my wrist in a few days. I deliberately requested that the case was not refinished, as it wears its marks well. The 12-o'clock lume was replaced on the bezel however. I don't think it's looking too shabby either inside or out for something that's been on my wrist virtually every day for 20 years or so |

Arrived today from Genesis Watchmaking, clipped round a foam pad and held tightly in a velvet bag Which was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. Which was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. Which was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. Which was in a Jiffy bag. Which was in a Jiffy bag. Which was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. Which was in a Jiffy bag. Which was in a Post Office Special Delivery bag. Not surprisingly, the watch survived the journey! |
