So here is the Breitling Super Avenger Blacksteel and a genuine Breitling Blacksteel bracelet. It's been a long journey guys,a REALLY REALLY long journey, but I believe I may be the only one, or at least the first ever individual in the entire universe who has this combo. Correct me if I'm wrong......or pinch me if I'm dreaming!

Actually they don't scratch easily. The carbon Nitride treatment Breitling gives the Blacksteel line of timepieces are especially resistant to scratches. Not to say that if you bang one against the barbed wire while trying to escape the can, it won't scratch! But Breitling DOES re-coat the watch if you mess it up with scratches, as a friend of mine told me about a customer whose Super avenger Blacksteel got wrecked in a motorcycle accident and had to be sent to Breitling. They completely fixed the issue and he got his piece back spotless!  The Breitling Blacksteel mesh bracelet is sooooo comfortable it's ridiculous! You wouldn't even know you were wearing such a heavy timepiece 'cept for the fact that you keep glancing at it ALL the time, not to see what time it is, but just to admire it's looks.

I like the blacksteel, but do have a question for you. Do you know if the actual material is black all the way through? If scratches do, in fact, occur, will they just show up as visible scratches or might they also reveal a "shiny" bright metal beneath it. I saw the comments about Breitling using a carbon nitride coating, but is that on top of an already SOLID black metal (steel?) for extra skin protection or is there really a shiny metal lurking underneath all of it? |

There is regular steel underneath. It's not 'shiny', but it is steel coloured. |

i must admit, love the BS SA hate mesh bracelets, but the mesh in this color looks amazing, love the combo congrats great pics btw damn this SA thing is growing on me again, why did i ever sold mine errrr |

Hey there, I just recently purchased a SA BS and ive been going crazy trying to find a way to get the blacksteel mesh bracelet. My local AD told me my watch has a 22mm lug space and the mesh bracelet has a 24mm lug . They said its not possible. I showed them the pics you posted and they just didnt have an answer. Can you please help me out. I feel that bracelet makes the watch even more good looking. I really appreciate your help. |

That may explain why they told you that you have 22mm lugs. |
