I thought I would share photos of my new purchase, the Navitimer 01 In 18Ct Red Gold. it is a truely lovely piece but a nightmare to photograph. I hope you enjoy. Alan

I had a couple of the gold Bentley boxes which are much the same. It's a nice touch for the gold models.

Damn that is sharp looking! You made a great pick! It appears you, like I, have pretty pale skin (the Irish in me runs strong)...I don't know why it is but red gold looks so much better and visible than yellow gold on it. I guess it is the contrast? And I love the box as well...if mine came with that, it would be going on the mantle!

Hi ABC,

That is a beautiful watch indeed. I am not a great lover of gold waches, but that has changed my entire view of precious metal finishes. Breilting does it again.

Thank you guys for such nice remarks. The thing is, in reality when you see it in the "flesh" it really is beautiful , all the tiny features on the dial for example which are in gold, shimer and really stand out as as you move the watch around as the light hits them. And I think Breitlng has used the best colour red gold, it is such a beautiful colour that im afraid the camera /flash kills. I am one happy man. This is a reat forum and great people on here. Happy New Year all.
