Thanks. :lingsrock:

Wow, that’s quite a set up. Looks fabulous.

Does it look Breitling enough though, or if you ignored the imagery on the walls, would this be like any other Service Centre? Perhaps the imagery is the designers point of difference and the one trick pony they need to get the ‘Breitling Experience’. Not sure, but interesting all the same.

I notice there is not too much space given to technicians seated at their workpoints. There a little narrow. Bench grinders are a bit clunky too. Making a feature of the extraction process is one thing, but it leaves no room to sit at the grinding wheels, hard to keep the floor area clean as well.

HM chairs are cool in the Meeting Rooms and the uplighting adds a great effect for indirect lighting. The Techs will need about 600Lux on the work bench, so the task lights on the benchtop are traditional but very necessary in this case. The Clearstory lighting and the high cathedral ceiling is a great way of setting a mood and flooding the space iwith background light. Very Miesian/European in feel, where as the Public areas are very US Corporate. So no single theme then. Circular pelmet lighting in the Visitor area is a nice touch. Frank Gehry eat your heart out.

Wonder what the energy consumption is. Did they make any boast on Green credits or low emission features within the building?

Jim
