Fading perhaps, but not forgotten. For a kid in rural Iowa, then in Kansas, the space missions were a source of endless fascination in a world with one daily newspaper, three television channels, and maybe F.M. radio if your parents had a really nice car. It was funny watching the space jump with my daughter, who dropped her electronic everything-else to watch with amazement as I did so many years ago.Thanks for your contribution to it. |
