Very nice. Best I can do right now is my Headwind or the AP on my bottle of Talisker 18, but if someone has a really nice Navi and some Macallan 30, I'll be happy to consider them the winner.

Headwind and Talisker is a combo more to my tastes ;-)

Might try and get a photo of my cosmonaute and some Ardbeg to celebrate Ardbeg's first bottle of scotch into space last month! :-)

We don't get Crown here in Aus, so I'm unaware of any socio-economic group that it is connected to... but I gather from your post it is akin to Jack Daniels?

:uplaugh:

Well I would liken a Crown and Coke to a "bundy'n Coke!"

haha, ok.

Bundy does come from Queensland, and the sun does shine a little too strong up there... so we try to take it easy on them ;-)

Well you know how it is, you get a drink that works and you tend to stick with it! I'd love to see some more refined combinations! lol

I totally relate to that! Having the jack to come up with a bottle of Crown was like Christmas. Odd that it never lasted through the first night.

Thanks, wish I was back there now. Still have the watch, the beer is easy enough to get...the location is a tad tougher.

I would hope you would still have that watch!

I snapped this picture this morning, this bottle was a gift from my secretary as it was a gift to her husband who is now deceased. She told me it had to be 10 years old, so I've been saving it for a special occasion.
