It is perfectly normal. I have suffered Superocean Staring Syndrome as well, got that cured but got Evolution Staring Syndrome, after about two years it passed and now I am suffering/enjoying Super Avenger Staring Syndrome.

I'm giving serious thought to trading one of my other watches for one of these beauties.

Need to pay a visit to the AD soon and try one on! :D

Great pics!

nzeaglei,

As hnb said, the Staring Syndrome is perfectly normal -- but
potentially dangerous! :? Let me explain. Whenever I buy a
new watch (doesn't have to be a Breitling) I, too, fall prey to the
Syndrome. Unfortunately, staring at your lovely new timepiece
is not a wise thing to do when you're driving at 70 mph on a busy
freeway.

When I picked up my Skyland (my AD is 60 miles away) I fought
the urge to ogle the piece while driving home. I succeeded for awhile,
but my eyes would always return to that beautiful blue dial.

Anyway, I was looking at the Skyland instead of watching the traffic
ahead of me -- which had come to a complete halt (road construction).
Miraculously, I looked up just in time to hit the brakes and come to
a screeching halt several feet from the car in front of me.

New rule: I will never wear a new watch home from the jeweler
again (unless somebody else is driving). It stays in the box in the
back seat!

Sorry, nzeaglei,

I forgot to tell you what a beauty you've got there. Look at it
with caution!
