Okay so watches are now back from the shop. Feck it was expensive!!!

As mentioned before I cheaped out and left the slightly damaged crystal on the Olympus and also held off on the polish for the 1461 (I might still get this done - what the hell), plus no croc.

The Olympus looks so good now, has some real presence (the photos don't do it justice) and dare I say it almost looks fake its so shiny.

The 1461 looked odd at first but once i got it home I am really starting to warm to its. I wanted to tone it down a bit and with the all ivory dial and subdial on brown it looks are real nice watch for more casual settings.

Still cant believe Breitling Japan want extra for polish.

Very nice pictures mate! I'm suddenly missing my own 1461 - currently at Breitling Service Center in Sydney for a complete overhaul. We'll be reunited in 10 days. :lingsrock:

Yeah I really missed my Breitlings. Hope all is well with your 1461 - the new lum on the hands was nice! There's not many around now, had mine for 10 years or so now.

Thanks! Got mine from another BS Forum member about a year ago. I saw the FS post on the Buy/Sell/Trade section and I just knew that I had to buy it. This is the first time that I had to send a watch to the service center for an overhaul and I've read feedback on this forum that they come back looking brand new. Your pictures have proven this and I can't wait to get mine back.

I've also just pulled the trigger on a vintage Breitling and "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"! :D
