If I'm not mistaking, yours also sierra silver dial just like mine.

Here's one more Sierra Silver to add to the list . . . no gold for me, though.

Thank you Sir ! I can return the compliment !

For a moment, I thought that we had the same face, too. But there is one detail that gave yours away. :) Read on:

Mine has the Mother of Pearl dial (an $ 600 option). My preferance went for that face although that was not compatible with the gold circles on the subdials, as on yours. As my AD explained, that is due to the thickness of the dial when the Pearl is added, leaving no possibility for gold circles. It is interesting though how the dial changes colors depending on the light and the angle from which you look at it from green to grey.

You are absolutely correct. (very observant).
By the way, I thoroughly love the change of shade from green to gray and vice versa.

Ok, I dont mean to hijack the thread but I was wondering. I thought that the B01 is the same as a Chronomat 44, just it was called the B01 earlier then the exact same watch had a name change.

That is almost correct. The B01 is 43.5

That is correct. It was originally the B01 and then the name was changed to Chronomat 01 to distinguish between the watch and the movement (called B01). When different sizes were introduced the name was changed again to Chronomat 44 to be conistent in the naming conventions.

So can you tell a difference between say a B01 and a Chronomat 44 laying side by side with your naked eye?
