My new toy arrived yesterday, an IWC Vintage Collection Aquatimer. The Vintage Collection is being phased out at the end of this year and production is now limited. I had to wait two months and I know another guy who has been waiting for three. So I was anxious to finally receive it.
I really like the somewhat different look -- an updated version of the original Aquatimer from the 60s. The second crown is for the internal rotating bezel. It has the in-house 80111 movement and a display back.
Adding another black-dialed watch has made me realize that I have to sell my silver-dialed TOC, there just isn't enough contrast between dial and hands for my old eyes. Then I'll pick up the black version.
Excuse the quickly-taken photos. Next week I hope to do a glamour shoot.

Yesterday before the UPS man arrived, I hiked to a nearby summit for some sunrise photos. Beautiful scenery and a new watch make for a good day.
